3 Dead in Michigan Courthouse Shooting

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — Two bailiffs and a suspect are dead after a courthouse shooting in Michigan, according to Berrien County Undersheriff Chuck Heit. One civilian and another officer were injured in the incident, Heit told CNN. Michigan State Police confirmed the shooting around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

St. Joseph is on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, about 100 miles by car from Chicago.
