DENTON - Its been a rough week for food condiments in DFW.

Over the weekend at Braum’s Burgers in Denton, Police say they are investigating an assault over honey mustard. A manager at the burger shop told police a couple were agitated after not getting honey mustard with their order.

The customer then punched the employee in the face over the mistake. Police say the manager then tried to video the customers license plate and that's when the man tried to slap her phone away.

Last week there was the salsa war at a north Dallas taqeria. At first, a few ladies got into some heavy hair pulling over the heat of the moment. Then the guys got in on the act having a taco tear down. That must have been some heavy salsa!

Denton police say they are still investigating and looking for the irate honey mustard customer. It didn’t bust out into a free for all salsa brawl, but it leaves some wondering what the sauce is going on.

“I think its pointless its stupid, there’s no reason to do all that," one customer explained.

The manager says she is all right and will be sending her video to police. In the mean time maybe customers need to chill on the sauces.
