DALLAS - When it comes to pets some people like to keep it interesting.

Right Dez?

From bison to sloths, animal lovers continue to show us they have no problem living on the wild side when it comes to their pets and now we can add a wallaby to the list.

His name is Wally and before winding up at the Dallas Zoo, he was being kept in a cage on his owner's condo balcony. Since it's illegal to own a wallaby in Dallas without a permit, the animal was taken to Dallas Animal Services.

The Dallas Zoo says Wally is healthy and shows no sign of abuse. He's currently being quarantined until they decide whether they'll allow it to join their six other wallabies. Here's hoping that wally makes it lucky number 7.
