HOUSTON — Three teens in Houston say Taco Bell employees stabbed one of them, then burnt the other two with boiling hot grease. The incident was, apparently, caught on surveillance cameras, but Taco Bell has not released the video.
KIAH reports, Haronisha Alexander says she, her cousin and her boyfriend were in the drive-thru when Alexander threw an empty bottle of the car window. When she refused to pick it up, she says an employee threw a drink in the car.
“My cousin went in to tell the manager,” Alexander said. “And the same man that did it came around the counter with a butcher knife.”
Alexander says the employee stabbed her cousin, then throw hot grease on her and her cousin’s boyfriend.
But according to Houston PD, Taco Bell employees tell a very different story.
The manager says there were four people in the car and they came into the restaurant pushing over chairs and trying to break windows, so the employees defended themselves.
What a mess!
A statement from Taco Bell says:
“The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority and we are very upset this happened in our restaurant. We are cooperating with the Houston police in their investigation and are in process of filing charges and property damage complaints with them. This was a traumatic incident for our employees and we are supporting them by offering counselling.”
