PARIS, FRANCE -- All we do is work! All the time, every day, we are consumed by our jobs. Even when we're off, technology is connecting us to work more than ever before!!
What if you didn't have to worry about that because sending emails after work hours is against the law? Well, in France, it now is!
The French passed a Labor Reform bill with an amendment in it that gives you "the right to disconnect.” That means, it's now illegal for companies with more than 50 employees to send emails after hours.
So, will America adopt the same policy? Doubtful but just in case, get that out of office reply ready.
