RUIJIN CITY, JIANGXI PROVINCE, CHINA — Four cars and a tree recently collapsed into a massive sinkhole in eastern China.
It happened over the weekend. The hole was more than 16 feet long and nearly 9 feet deep.
One person, who owned one of the cars, was having lunch across the street and first watched as the tree began slowly sinking as the street gave way, then watched as the four vehicles fell into the hole.
It took a few hours, but firefighters were able to use a crane to pull the cars out. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Here’s hoping four car owners have insurance.
