Mark Cuban Open to Being Vice President for Trump or Clinton
DALLAS — Mark Cuban. He’s a self-made billionaire, a successful businessman, an entrepreneur, and the owner of the Dallas Mavericks. Those are some of the ways you can describe Cuban today. Soon, you may be able to add vice president to the list.
He’s open to the challenge, saying he’d “absolutely” consider running as Hillary Clinton’s VP. But there’s a caveat. At least, that’s what he told NBC’s Chuck Todd on Meet The Press.
“Absolutely, but the key would be she’d have to go more to center,” said Cuban. “If she’s willing to listen, if she’s willing to hear other sides of things, then I’m wide open to discussing it.”
He wasn’t done there. He said he’d also be open to listening to Donald Trump if approached with the VP job.
“I’m an independent. And I’m fiercely independent and think for myself, and I’d have the same conversation with Donald,” said Cuban.
Can you imagine, though? Two tickets with billionaires on each? Both of whom are known to speak their mind whether it’s a popular opinion or not. Now that may be the key to getting the crowd buzzing come election day.
