DALLAS -- When Rodney Duke opened up Tallywackers one year ago, he hardly expected his recipe for an all-male shirtless staff to break the internet!

Come on... who would've thought serving up hot dogs and cold beer in barely there shorts would be a such a hit?!

"It's been an amazing year," Duke told NewsFix. "We originally had an idea of a restaurant, and I can't believe it's gone viral around the world."

Duke says he's seen tourists from all over the world choose the views of Tallywackers over the big ball in Downtown.

"I have a group that comes in every month from Australia," Duke mentioned. "I even have a group from Dubai that's been in here three times."

Since this place is nestled in the heart of Oak Lawn, the restaurant attracts a colorful crowd of both men and women. NewsFix checked in to see what was up, and we have to say the restaurant was filled with both genders enjoying the meat and... food too!

"It's such a fun atmosphere, has such a great vibe going on, so I keep coming back," one regular said.

And since Tallywackers has built up a rep of being a first,  they're bringing something else new to the city that might really get the people excited!

To celebrate their one year anniversary, they're partnering with Ruby Revue Productions to bring  a series of Broadway-themed shows called, Boylesque. But of course, in Tally fashion, they're trading the dancing girls for the twirling guys!

Hey, with all this attention Dallas is getting... we kind of feel sorry for other towns.

Duke says he gets a thousand emails a day from fans asking if the restaurant is coming to a city near them. But as of now, the booming business is only booming in Big D.

Guess sightseers and foreigners will have to settle for taking their Tallywackers to go!
