Look up in the sky — it’s a bird, it’s a plane. No, it’s Supergirl flying over to CW 33 for its second second.

Yep, the baddest chick in the sky is moving from CBS to its sibling-network.

What’s up with the big flight? Well, we’re sure The FlashSupergirl crossover success this season plays a part. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, with Supergirl ranking as CBS’ most expensive first-year show ever, producer Warner Bros. Television is looking to cut costs.

That means Supergirl will join The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow with production moving from Los Angeles to Vancouver — where it’s much cheaper to shoot.

And hey, it can’t hurt that our audience is much younger — which could mean higher ratings.

As far as we’re concerned — CBS’ loss, The CW’s gain.
