THE COLONY. Texas -- So, what do you get when you mix Rock & Roll, cold beer, and the stars of the legendary band Kiss?! Well, you get the perfect recipe for a rockin' grand opening! Hall of famers Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's restaurant, Rock & Brews in The Colony  has officially opened for business!

"Rock & Brews here celebrates all things American," Gene Simmons told NewsFix. "For one thing, rock and roll was invented here."

This is the first Texas location of the concert bar & grill that got its start in LA.

"This isn't cookie cutter stuff. We make sure we tailor each one to the area it's in," explained Paul Stanley.

The rock inspired restaurant offers everything from burgers, wings, and tacos that you can wash down with a huge selection of craft beer or maybe... Cold Gin?

The food looks so good, you probably will want to Lick It Up.

Before R&B opened its doors to the public, the superstars found time to serve the ones who've served our country. A private luncheon was held for 100 vets and active servicemen and women, with a portion of Tuesday night's sales going to Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas.

"In every one that we open, we first open our doors to the military. The military are the people who make everything possible," Stanley explained.

And what's a restaurant owned by a couple of rock stars without some live music and karaoke?

"It really is your home away from home. It's like a club," Stanley added.

Wonder if folks can expect some Crazy Crazy Nights here?
