What To Do This Mother’s Day in DFW!

NORTH TEXAS — Mother’s Day is tomorrow and so for once you should be doing the cooking and day planning! So here’s a quick little cheat sheet of what’s going down tomorrow that you can take dear ole’ mom to!

First out in Richardson, the Cottonwood Arts Festival is up and running all weekend! Admission is free, the park is beautiful and it’s the perfect spot to grab ma that last second Mother’s Day gift!

Over at the Dallas Zoo, it’s Dallas Roars, with a special “Love Ya, Mom!” event, featuring special exhibits and entertainment that are free with your general admission.

As for what’s on the menu: House of Blues is hosting a Mother’s Day Gospel Brunch, while on the much fancier side, the Mansion Restaurant at Rosewood Mansion is hosting a special three-course brunch and dinner. But that’s gonna cost you $105. Per person.

So let’s talk free! At Denny’s mom gets a free dessert when you order two entrees! Mom also gets in free to Medieval Times with one paid adult admission.

And finally, your mama can order a free meal of the Mother’s Day Menu… at Hooters. You may want to check to be sure she’s OK with that, first.
