WASHINGTON, D.C. -- You know the drill: Shoes, hats, and belts all go in the bin. The same old routine every time we go to the airport.  A routine which adds up to long lines, long waits, and long faces.

But the Transportation Security Administration has a plan to turn those frowns upside down during this summer's busy travel season. First up, they say they're going to keep those lines short, by increasing staff. That makes sense!

Then, there are the little things. The TSA wants all their employees to help with non-security issues. For example, getting those annoying bins out of the way!

And, if you want to just avoid all potential long lines, there's the TSA PreCheck, which is a cool way to fast-track through security. Those who use it, swear by it.

Now don't get too excited; all these changes sound great. but it’s going to take some time to get them going. So until then, get back in line!
