One sure-fire sign that you’re from DFW is a love of shiny things. Our restaurant patios twinkle, our art dazzles, our cars gleam, and even our lakes sparkle. When it comes to bling, are you a “real-deal-only” girl or the “bedazzle everything” type? Either way, we know of a few fun boutiques, jewelry stores, gift shops, emporiums, and outlets you need to see.

She’ll Say Yes – to the Bling

When only the finest will do, visit Kubes Jewelers in Fort Worth. For decades, this fourth generation family-owned store has been helping DFWers find the right diamond when it really counts. If you’re not ready for the ultimate gift just yet, browse their watches, estate and vintage jewelry, and designer collections for that oh-so-special piece.

Bling on Her Fingers

Fuller’s Jewelry in Addison is another family-owned gem to visit when you’re looking for the most important bling of your life. Their selection also includes diamond or gemstone necklaces and earrings while their custom designs make your blingiest dreams come true.

Bling on Your Toes

Head-to-toe is a more apt description for the selection you’ll find at Versona. With five DFW locations, this apparel and accessories store has you covered. You might not find diamonds on the soles of their shoes, but you’ll find a diamond mine of dresses, handbags, jewelry and more.

Just the Right Bling

Sometimes finding the bling can be even more fun than wearing it. The Blingin’ Gypsy in historic downtown Waxahachie has a treasure trove of goodies including our favorite – dressed-up dress down clothes – with bling, of course.

Always in Style

When you need just the right piece to make that outfit pop without looking like everyone else in town, a consignment store might be golden. With a beautifully curated and generously stocked jewelry counter, Larger Than Life on Preston Road is one of our favorites.

The Elements of Style – Deep Ellum Style

Sequins? Pearls? We say both and worn together whenever possible. To assemble a fabulous outfit, just take a look through the vintage treasures you’ll find at Elluments – that’s right – in Deep Ellum. Shop hours are evening friendly so you can pick up something just in time to light up the night.

37,000 is more like it at Sam Moon. These emporiums of jewelry and accessories have so much to look at you’ll have whiplash. Load up on everything you need to look great in their Frisco store or at the iconic Harry Hines location in Dallas.

Bling the Halls

Sure it’s great to get all your bling out when you get dressed, but don’t let your home feel left out. Shiny baubles feel right at home all over the house too. Find some treasures by local creatives and independent designers as well as recycled fashions for yourself and your home at Rose Garden Remake in Bishop Arts.

We’re Blingin’ Even When We’re Kickin’ It

Over in Grapevine, smart and sassy fashionistas visit the unique boutique called Ooh La La, and they say “Oui, oui!” We don’t think there’s anything better than a pair of boots with bling (unless it’s two pairs of boots with bling – or maybe three.) Look for them alongside Miss Me jeans and other fashions that’ll put stars in your eyes.

Just when you think you’ve bedazzled everything you can, you find custom and team apparel, caps, totes and more at Spirit Outfitters in Rowlett. This family-owned store wants to customize your life. They like to do it with screen printing and embroidery, but we really like it when they do it with sequins.

We think stops at these shops will get you well on your way to owning all kinds of sparkly treasures. Shine on, DFW, shine on!
