KELLER -- The town of Keller has always been a train friendly kind of place. But recently, the Keller City Council decided they needed a brand new shiny parking lot. And that meant the trains had to move it on down the tracks.

"The last administration we had before this one was very interested in history. The current one isn’t at all interested in history," said Cathie Jackson of the Old Town Keller Foundation.

That's when the TV show, Texas Flip N Move swooped in quickly to keep one of the train cars from hitting the scrap heap.

Not only did the show move a train compartment 20 miles down the road to the town of New Fairview, but they plan on turning the train car into a brand new house for someone to have as their very own home.

Once finished, the show will put the house up for auction, where bids usually go from $20,000 to $80,000 on most of their creations.

So, there's new life for the little train that could… avoid the scrap yard.
