DALLAS- What's in a name? Well, for the family of Joseph Hutcheson, six names in particular means a lot. For eight months, they've been trying to connect the dots in the death of 48-year-old Hutcheson. Back in August of last year, surveillance video captured it all: Hutcheson ran into the Dallas County Sheriff's building reportedly looking for help, but he ended up dying on the lobby floor.

"We know that Joseph Hutcheson walked up that hill, walked in that lobby asking for help, and received a knee to the back, a knee to the throat, and ended up dead," family spokesman and spiritual adviser Reverend Jeff Hood said.

The Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide, saying Hutcheson died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease and physiological stress combined with cocaine and meth.

On Monday, Reverend Hood stood in front of the Lew Sterrett Justice Center to drop names of the officers he claims were involved with Hutcheson's death.

"Joseph Hutcheson died because of these six names," Rev. Hood explained. "They were those who placed their hands and feet and knees on Joseph Hutcheson until he died; they're others who were inactive participants who did not put their hands on Joseph Hutcheson when they could have, to save his life."

We reached out to the Dallas County Sheriff's office to confirm the names listed by Reverend Hood.  Due to the ongoing investigation of  the involved officers, they're not confirming identities.

"We know that those six names have been investigated, we know that at least four of those names will be presented to the grand jury," Rev. Hood added.
