SAN FRANCISCO -- We all know the feeling when you see what you want and you just have to have it -- instant gratification. But after the pleasure, there's that immediate feeling of regret.

Yep, shopping can create quite the rush. Uh... what did you think we were talking about?

It turns out, when it comes to shopping and sex, a new survey found a surprising number of people pick shopping over sex.

Seriously.

Online coupon site Ebates says 100% of those polled use shopping as therapy to boost their mood and things don't seem to change with age. 96% of adults and 95% of teens admit they enjoy retail therapy.

Most people even said shopping makes them feel even better than eating pizza, but who would’ve thought people would prefer sliding their credit card over sliding under the sheets?!

Only in America.
