DALLAS-Are you stressing out right now? Well it might be time to relax! This week’s Subculture shows us how the ancient art of Tai Chi will enrich body and mind all while having a little fun with your friends.
“Tai Chi is an ancient movement system that for the health of mind body and spirit. It has been practiced as a martial art but we don’t practice it as a martial art at the Taoist Tai Chi Society,” said Christine NG, senior instructor of Tai Chi.
“I’ll be 81 in March and it’s given me great flexibility great, balance that I feel I wouldn’t have had I not been doing Tai Chi,” said Hugh Feagin.
Tai Chi works all of the muscles and joints of the body very slowly very gently.
“All of us have different backgrounds different problems so just meeting different people, what they do, how they have benefited from Tai Chi,” said Pat Daniel.
“Joining the society you’re not paying for classes, if you’re a member here you’re a member anywhere in the world where we have a location,” said Ann Pettit.
