PLANO, TX- Are you looking for an adventure? Well, if monkeying around is your thing then you're going to want to see this!

Go Ape Treetop Adventures is giving North Texans the opportunity to swing from the trees with some pretty cool obstacles.

"It’s made up of five zip lines over 30 crossings and all kinds of different challenges for everyone," said Matt Tarver, site manager at Oak Point Park.

The new park is part of a collaboration between Plano Parks and Rec and Go Ape and is located at Oak Point Park .

But you don't have to be an experienced tree climber to participate.

"It’s really an escape to get out here in the forest and be a part of Oak Point but also be a part of Go Ape and have a great experience," said Tarver.

And if you're more of a tree hugger, then there's some good news for you too, Go Ape intends to share its revenue with the park to help preserve the ecosystem.

"All of our proceeds we give back to our park systems and that's just to pour money back into our parks, make it a beautiful place and inviting place," he said.

The treetop experience is currently under construction but you can expect to harness up in early spring.

So get ready to zip, climb and enjoy the great outdoors.
