Aspen Shaquill Daron Warren has been charged with murder. The 20-year-old is accused of shooting Daniel after exchanging words.

According to the arrest warrant, Daniel was driving on I-30 with a co-worker when a car with four passengers, including Warren pulled up next to them. Police say Warren managed to grab a gun, roll down the front passenger window and fire two shots at Daniel-- all while driving. Daniel was able to pull over before dying on the side of the road.

On Sunday, Newsfix spoke to her heartbroken family and friends as they released balloons in her honor. On Thursday, they'll gather again for Brittany's memorial.

But, now that a suspect is behind bars, her loved ones can say their final farewells knowing there may be justice for this senseless killing.
