DALLAS -- We know the line well: sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite. But biting they are. And when according to pest control specialists Orkin they like biting people in DFW.

The company just released its list of the top 50 cities for bed bugs and the Metroplex came in at lucky number 13.

The blood sucking bugs can hitch hike in your luggage, through pipes and wiring from the guy in the next apartment, and even in your laptops and TVs. Yeah, tough stuff to hear.

Topping the list for the fourth straight year is Chicago, followed by Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York, and Columbus. Houston, the only other Texas city on the list, landed at number 17.

There is some good news we can take away: the DFW area is lower on the list this year than last year. It's down seven spots.

Still some more work to do, but it looks like we're slowly working the bugs out!
