NORTH TEXAS -- Just when you thought you didn’t need your heavy coat and gloves, mother nature blows through town to remind us it’s still winter in North Texas.
That’s right, it’s downright bone-chilling, teeth-chattering cold outside. Yeah, highs on Saturday never made it out of the 40s; not to mention the blustery conditions.
Winds gusted up to 30-miles-per-hour – can you say wind chill?
What’s more, you might want to crank up your heater or bust out extra blankets tonight. The National Weather Service is expecting lows in the 20s; add in the wind chill and we’re looking at temps around 15-degrees in some areas.
Keep those coats and scarves close, this cold snap is sticking around for the next few days.
Hey, at least we’re not dealing with cold and ice. Now, that would’ve been a mess.
