Illinois Funeral Home to Serve Liquor During Services

WHEELING, IL -- When it comes to mourning the loss of a loved one, everyone has their own way of dealing with the pain. But apparently, a funeral home in Illinois thinks liquor is the cure to healing.

According to the Daily Herald, in a 5 to 1 vote, a board in Wheeling, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago, has officially approved a liquor license for Kolssak Funeral Home. From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the venue plans to serve alcohol and food during funerals and wakes.
