More Than 200 Women Sue WEN Hair Products Over Hair Loss

Strength, moisture, manageability. Those are the words of WEN, the company famous for their cleansing conditioner, founded by Chaz Dean.

Well, the popular brand is under fire after complaints from consumers that the product causes a plethora of problems to the scalp including irritation, rash and hair loss. And now, over 200 women in 40 states have come together for a class action lawsuit against Dean, and the marketing company Guthy-Renker.

WEN has recently released a response to Buzzfeed:

"There is no scientific evidence whatsoever to support any claim that our hair care products caused anyone to lose their hair."

Yikes, we’ve yet to see a commercial showing those results. Well, one thing these alleged victims may gain, is a lot of dough.
