SEATTLE — This story plays out like an episode of “Cops” — including wild video.

In this case, the bad boy in question is a 73-year-old man. Cops in Seattle say he was initially stopped for driving with his headlights off. Well, as the officer was conducting his usual routine — you know, checking his license and vehicle registration — things got really weird.

“What’s in your left hand?” the cop can be heard asking on dash cam video.

“Nothing,” the man said.

Well, the video determined that was a lie. According to police, he had cocaine in his hand!

“Are you kidding me? Were you about to snort coke on the side of the road?! What would possess you to do that on a traffic stop with a police officer right behind you? I just don’t understand!”

“I don’t understand either,” says the man.

The man was arrested for narcotics possession and Seattle PD turned the dash cam video into a holiday PSA about driving under the influence.

As for gramps, well, he’ll definitely be put on Santa’s naughty list this Christmas.
