IRVING, TX -- First, it was the armed protesters; they were followed by the peacekeepers; and now, it appears the Texas Rebel Knights, or the KKK based in Quinlan, is inviting any U.S. citizen to protest -- you guessed it, the Islamic Center of Irving on December 12th.

The “invite” was posted on Imgur and quickly circulated social media. The event is now noticeably absent from the Knights' website; the only event currently listed? One that asks for holiday food and toy donations.

Awww…so, they have a heart.

But, seriously, friends -- when does it end? It's starting to feel like "protesters" are becoming a weekly thing out there.

NewsFix reached out to Irving PD, and as expected, they’re well aware of the planned protest. In fact, they say another rumored protest is reportedly set for December 5th.

In a statement, the department said: “it's monitoring information regarding these possible events.”

We also called the Islamic Center for their response, but our calls weren’t returned. We did notice a statement on their website regarding the recent peace rally this past Saturday.

It reads, in part: “It’s very heartwarming to see the outpouring of support. We are overjoyed about the fact that we’ve received hundreds of emails of sympathy and support.”

The statement also notes the center “strives to contribute positively to the Irving community.”

Hey, just a thought, but maybe we can all take a cue from The Black Eye Peas song, Where is the Love?
