DALLAS – Sammich on sammich on sammich on sammich. Not what you'd expect from a bar. Well, High Fives in Dallas isn't your average hangout.

"We're not pretentious, we're not pushy,” Marc Torres said. Torres is the operating partner and general manager of High Fives. “We're very casual and easy."

And there's something pretty special about the food they're serving up, right down to the grilled cheese.

"Our grilled cheese is absolutely our number one best seller,” Torres said. "We also serve it with a side of tomato basil dip."

There's also the Goodfella, an eggplant parmesan sandwich that gives a nod to vegetarians and Italians. There's also the Sunday sandwich. Just think of it as an ode to Chick-Fil-A. And don't forget the tots!

Chew on This, High Fives even has a Thanksgiving sandwich with herb roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry relish. Gobble! Gobble!

Now you can't forget the drinks, like the Kimberly and the Ashley. Yeah, High Fives has a group of drinks named after some special, or should we say, not-so-special ladies.

"You know, that's between something my partners and ourselves,” Torres said. “It's probably better to be off the list than on it. Sooooo, we'll just leave it at that."

So, what's up with the name High Fives?

"I was just walking around outside one time by the group of girls, and one of the girls was like 'High Fives, it's such a silly name,'” Torres said. “I just walked over and gave her a High Five, and she started smiling. I go, 'What are you doing right now?' She's like, 'Smiling.' I go, 'There you go.' And she goes, 'Makes sense then."

Well, there you have it. Savory sandwiches, and some pretty sweet drinks. That deserves a high five!
