VALLEY RANCH, TX — Talk about a sight for sore eyes! Tony Romo back on the practice field, gearing up for this Sunday’s game in Miami, and Coach Garrett says he likes what he sees.
“He had a good day, worked through it and got a lot of work in,” said Garrett. “It’s good to see him back out there throwing the ball around.”
Well, a fresh starting QB isn’t the only thing Cowboys fans can look forward to on the field. Thursday night, the NFL unveiled new Cowboys jerseys as part of its new color rush campaign.
The new threads will be worn on Thanksgiving. And while most fans love them…
Some are pointing out that there ain’t much color to these color rush uniforms.
Of course, die-hards will recognize that the uniforms aren’t exactly new — just remakes of the double star jerseys worn in the 90s. Most memorably when Dallas lost their shot at a three-peat against the Niners in the 95 championship game.
OK, so that’s not the best wardrobe mojo, but at least they look slick and a lot better than what the Jags had on Thursday.
Hey, a change of look is just what this team needs. Of course, it’d be better if the change was the way this team is playing instead of just how they’re suiting up!
