FORT WORTH, TX —  She’s baaaaack!

“Welcome to Mobile. Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the other Mary.”

That’s right, the sassy southerner with the witty one-liners is returning to the McDavid Studio in Fort Worth.

Dixie is riding back into cowtown with her brand new show: Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull ..and 16 Other Things I Learned While I Was Drinking Last Thursday.

“My best friend and I were planning her send-off party for her honeymoon. So, I was writing out how to make her party, then I started getting drunk, because that’s what happens in a honky-tonk, I can’t help it, don’t get mad,” character actress Dixie Longate told NewsFix.

The last time we saw Dixie, she was dishing life stories and secrets at her Tupperware party.

This time, Dixie’s taking us into her favorite honky-tonk where she’s serving her post hangover lessons, straight-up and always with a twist.

“I broke all the lessons down for ya because I do that for you – I cant help it. Not everybody has time to figure it out and focus on it, but I do because, again, I give,” she said jokingly.

Dixie’s show is on stage for a limited run. You can catch her and her non-stop antics now through November 22nd.

“I draw my inspiration, first of all from vodka; second of all, from my best friend Georgia Gene because she’s real nice and neighborly and she’s always helped me.,” Dixie explained.

“You know how you’re talking all the time, you get with your best friend, and you’re talking all the time, and you say I wanna help somebody else. Like when you see someone who falls into a gutter, face-down after they’ve been drinking, and they throw up and you’re thinking I should really move their purse so they don’t throw-up in it because that’s neighborly.”

Remember, as Dixie would say: “Squeeze your legs real tight together, assume the position and get ready for your ride.”
