ARLINGTON, TX -- The sports scene in the DFW is starting to feel a bit depressing. Hey, no need to feel bad because the metroplex is adding a new sports team to the roster!

That`s right, the WNBA brought a full court press conference Monday. It announced North Texas' first WNBA team, the Dallas Wings.

"I can only say it`s going to be a fun atmosphere for anyone who walks through this arena," Dallas Wings Head Coach Fred Williams said.

"I think it`s a great opportunity, us being here in Dallas," Wings star player Skylar Diggins added. "Like everyone continues to say over and over, this is a huge sports town."

One familiar face making her return to this sports town is Irving`s own Odyssey Sims.

"I`m very excited to be back! I`m home They`re going to call me a home town hero," Sims Told Newsfix.

She and the rest of the Wings will relocate from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to play at the College Park Center on UTA`s campus.

"We`re coming in to work together and do whatever we can, to help to build, top recruits to come her also," Coach Williams said.

So, if you want to know what it means to play like a girl, you know where to go.
