DALLAS -- Even though she was a stray, Sweet Pea never looked like she’d been living on the streets.

“She didn’t really have any illnesses or anything she was just out there on her own,” says Holly Sampson, marketing director for Dallas Pets Alive! “It’s a mystery.”

Once Dallas Pets Alive! got Sweet Pea got out of the shelter, she got rave reviews at all her foster homes.

“They’ve all said she is the easiest girl ever,” says Sampson.

The buzz was that one of the fosters was going to take the leap between “for now” and “fur-ever.”

“She was with a great foster who couldn’t decide whether to adopt her or not,” says Sampson. “They had her for a while and decided not to adopt her.”

So, now Sweet Pea is staying at the Underdog Kennel and plotting her comeback to the “A-List”

“She’s crate trained, house trained, gentle,” says Sampson. “She’s just looking for the right home.”

Sweet Pea could stay on the foster home tour, but she’d rather find a permanent gig.

“We’re looking for either a foster or adopter but she`s been with us since January, she deserves a "furr-ever" home.

And you could be the co-star to take Sweet Pea to the top!
