WASHINGTON, D.C. -- It may have been Astronomy Night in Washington D.C. Monday, but the biggest star of the evening was at the White House. And we're not talking about Obama. We're talking about Irving's own Ahmed Mohamed aka Clock Boy.

Ahmed had to deal with the flashing lights of celebrity as he arrived, but the clock enthusiast has had plenty of time to get used to that. Since his arrest with his suspicious looking science project, the 14-year-old has visited Google, rubbed elbows with the Queen of Jordan and hung out with the President of Sudan.

So, excuse Ahmed if a meet-and-greet with President Obama was just another Monday for him.

As the two met face-to-face, a mob formed around them. Seems like everybody there wanted to get a picture of the moment. The meeting might have been brief. Hey, Ahmed's a busy guy, but the two concluded the long awaited meeting as only two bros can -- with a hug.

But wait, there's even more news from this news-maker. A family friend confirms Ahmed and his parents are moving to Qatar. A foundation there is offering to pay for Ahmed's remaining high school and college education.

And to think, all this happened because his clock got confiscated by the Irving cops back in September.

Guess it's true: time flies when you're having fun.
