DALLAS, Texas- Bosses take note! The key to a happy work place isn't just about approving vacation time; rather filling your employees' tummies from time to time.

Well, that's something to chew on according to a survey from Pea-pod , a grocery delivery service. The study reports people are happier working in offices that provide free food. One- thousand full time workers were surveyed about their overall mood in the workplace. 56% stated they were “extremely” to “very” happy with their jobs. But, when food was on the table that number jumped to 67%.

Researchers also found some companies are turning into edible play-grounds so that they can attract the millennial work crowd and increase overall morale! One software company called Appeagle in New Jersey provides their employees with free breakfast, lunch, and unlimited snacks.

Now that's what we call: "will work for food." Uh, where do we sign up?
