IRVING - It's not Halloween just yet, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the crowd at the Irving Convention Center this weekend.

Folks showed up by the thousand to attend the Dallas ComicCon Fan Days event, many of them in costume.

"Cosplay is just showing off what you love," said a woman dressed as 'Miss Behaving,' who said her real name is Anna. "You can come in street clothes and put on a hat and say you're in cosplay, or you can do the full outfit, the wig and everything."

Both extremes, and everything in between, were represented in Saturday's crowd.  And the costumes covered a wide variety of pop culture.  Comics and movies got plenty of love, but so did CW's own Flash and Arrow!

"I'm from Greece, and everyone there loves Green Arrow," said Jim Sfakianakis, who came dressed as Oliver Queen, complete with his sidekick Rona as Black Canary. "Best superhero show on TV!"

If you've ever wanted to see Spiderman climb aboard a life-size TARDIS from Doctor Who, or have a photo op with Darth Vader or Han Solo... Dallas Comic Con is the place to be.
