MONTEREY, Calif. — Another day, another salmonella recall. This time, Dole is pulling bags of spinach that may be tainted.

The recall affects Dole spinach with the following marked on the bags:

  • Enjoy By date of Oct. 15
  • Codes A27409B and A27409A

The spinach of concern was sold in these 13 states: Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin.

Right now, Texas is not on the list.

No illnesses have been reported. This is precautionary measure after Dole Spinach salad tested positive for salmonella in a random sampling conducted by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, Dole said.
