ARLINGTON, TX — Helloooo Playoffs! The Rangers punched their ticket last night with a 5-3 win over their rival Angels! The celebration was subdued by the team after the game. Just a brief champagne toast, not a champagne shower, because this team knows they have bigger prizes in sight. One more win and the club locks up the AL West pennant!

But hey, doesn’t mean we can’t bask in the moment! After all, in this team’s long 44-year history in Texas, this is only the 7th time they’ve made it to postseason baseball! Definitely not an everyday occurrence.

But beyond the division, could there be an even bigger prize on the horizon? After all, Texas is still one of the hottest teams in the majors. The bullpen is awesome, the offense is clicking, and even Josh Hamilton is chasing down long fly balls like it’s 2010 all over again! Don’t count this club out for a long October run!

But for tonight, all eyes are on the division. Academy Sports is already on standby!

“We are super excited about the Rangers possible clinch,” said Dallas Store Director, Shawn Jurick. “And once it happens, we will re-open and we will have the product available for customers to purchase.”

So get ready, Rangers fans! It’s time to strap yourselves in for another crazy playoff ride!
