DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - Fall's officially here and that can only mean one thing, folks. The holidays are just around the corner.
Soon, you'll be eating turkey with your crazy relatives, buying expensive gifts you can`t afford for your kids, and stocking up on liquor to help ring in the new year.
Well, if you plan on flying during the holidays, Orbitz says the time to book is now.
The site suggests the specific date of Tuesday, October 6 to book a flight for Thanksgiving. Hey! That's next week, in case you were wondering.
Don't find yourself tangled in the tinsel this Christmas. Orbitz reports October 9 is your best bet to snag that seat this season.
But don't worry; the site says prices are also expected to drop November 6 and 7. A good thing for all you procrastinators out there.
And if you plan on partying in NYC for the new year, then October 10 is the best day to book your flight.
After October 12, Orbitz says you can expect prices to soar.
Oh, and if you fly out of DFW International Airport, you may notice something different.
The airport ditched its old look for a fresh, hot new brand, "Travel. Transformed."
DFW International says its new look celebrates international growth and greater focus on customers.
Hmmm...wonder if the new, sleek logo will help ease hectic holiday travel? Not!
