Tom Wins Again: NFL Appeal to Take Place Next Year

NEW YORK, NY - To anyone hoping Tom Brady would miss time this season over Deflategate,  it looks like those hopes are now flat. The U.S. Court of Appeals won`t hear the case until February of next year.

That effectively prevents any final ruling from affecting this season. In fact, even after the hearing in February the case can be appealed for years. It can go all the way to the Supreme Court. So Brady might be retired before it's all said and done.

The Cowboys likely wish Tom Brady would retire a lot sooner, like before the Pats come to town October 11th. Brady currently has the 6th highest quarterback rating in the league while Brandon Weeden is nowhere to be found in the current rankings.

So the question still remains: who let the air out? It looks like Brady wins again. Let’s just hope his penchant for winning comes to a screeching halt in Arlington.
