DALLAS -- It's our legal right to bear arms, but one group is rallying to bear arms around the bears at the Dallas Zoo!

After a new law passed in May allowing handguns to be carried in public in Texas, the debate on where they are and aren't allowed still remains. A gun advocacy group from Houston says the Dallas Zoo's signage prohibiting firearms is illegal.

They're firing off saying the zoo should allow guns because it's owned by the city, which is true, but the zoo stands behind a law that prohibits weapons because it's considered an amusement park and educational institution.

Sounds like both parties are protected by different laws, leaving lots of gray areas.

Hey, let’s just hope the only scary looking thing at the zoo is behind a glass enclosure.
