ATLANTA -- Just when you thought the Trump Camp couldn't get any more interesting, Sarah Palin joins in on the action.Yeah, the former Alaska Governor is gunning for the Secretary of Energy position in Trump's administration.

"I think a lot about the department of energy because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals,” Palin explained.

But, that's not all she wants.

In a CNN interview Sunday morning, Palin pulled a "Palin" and said all Americans should speak “American."

"You want to be in America, A: you'd better be here legally or you're out of here. B: when you're here, let's speak American."

You read right, she said, "Speak American."

In all fairness, she did follow up that gem with, "Let's speak English, and that's a kind of a unifying aspect of the nation is the language that is understood by all."

But that still didn’t stop people for trolling Palin's Twitter.

Well, maybe Palin’s looking to score brownie points with the Trump. After all, Trump dissed Jeb Bush's use of Spanish during a campaign stop in Miami.

Trump's choice of words might've earned him supporters, but is adding Palin to the cabinet a recipe for political disaster?
