FORT BEND COUNTY, TX -- Thought dinosaurs were extinct? Well, think again! Meet Cassandra the Velociraptor and Holmes the T-Rex.
Okay, they're not real dinosaurs, but the discovery is creating quite the controversy in their Sugar Land neighborhood.
Nancy Hentschel installed the sculptures on her front lawn this week.
"Obviously, it does kind of make a little bit of a statement," Hentschel said. "I have met more neighbors -- delightful people -- in 48 hours than I have in 17 years."
"They're not hurting anybody. They're different. It's unique. It's not common to see two dinosaurs just laying out," said neighbor Sara Lamandola.
But the HOA isn't as keen on the idea. After all, we're sure dinos are not on the approved lawn decor list.
Looks like it's too soon to tell if these dinosaurs will call this place home for good or fade out into extinction.
