Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea has been found safe.

NEW YORK — Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea is safe and in police custody. Rosie tweeted the update Tuesday afternoon and thanked the public for helping her find the 17-year-old.

It’s not yet clear where she was located.

O’Donnell tweeted early Tuesday that Chelsea vanished from the family’s New York home on Tuesday, August 11 with her 6-month-old therapy terrier named Bear. Police started searching for her on Sunday.

On her website, Rosie O’Donnell said Chelsea stopped taking her medicine and was in need of medical attention.
