DALLAS, TX -- Oh, baby! This story is a doozie. Sunday afternoon, two dudes jacked a car that was parked in front of the 7-11 off Elam Road and South Buckner Boulevard.
Get this – the car was fully loaded, as in there was a one-year-old baby on board.
That’s right, DPD says the baby’s mother was inside the store, and left her car running. That’s when cops say two suspects jumped in her tan Toyota Corolla and took off, taking the little girl with them.
What’s more, DPD says the thieves abandoned the baby at a nearby park. She was still strapped into her car seat.
Luckily, someone spotted the drop-off and flagged down a cop. The mother and child were reunited; thankfully the baby was okay.
Now, the hunt is on for the two crooks and the car. Here’s hoping their joyride comes to a stop soon.
