FERGUSON, MO – New surveillance video out of Ferguson shows the moments before police shot an 18-year-old man on the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death.

In it, you can see people scrambling for cover as the man, identified as Tyrone Harris, Jr., stands on the sidewalk with what appears to be a gun. Not long after, the teen allegedly shot at a St. Louis County Police car with officers inside. The officers fired back and hit Harris, who is now in critical condition.

Before the video was released, Harris’ aunt had said he wasn’t even carrying a gun and that he ran for his life like everyone else when shots rang out. His father said he thought Tyrone just got caught in the crossfire.
