Fad you are embarrassed you got into: I persuaded an orthodontist to convince my parents to get me braces in 4th grade because I thought it looked so cool (I still had baby teeth… that ortho is terrible). Needless to say, I ended up having to wear braces for a very long time. I had them twice for a total of about six years.
Best DFW tradition: Summer nights at the Nasher Museum Garden.
