MANHATTAN — Graphic new video shows a Panera Bread manager in Manhattan punching a female employee in the face. She was in the process of quitting. Now both of them are out of a job.

According to the YouTube user who uploaded the video,  the confrontation began earlier when the male manager physically threw the woman out of the store.

She returned, setting off the violent confrontation as customers screamed for him not to hit her.

“You might wanna say she hit him first, but really he had FULL CONTROL over her the entire time, was throwing her around, I think she gets one slap in that was louder than it was painful,” a tipster told Gawker.

PIX11 News in New York reached out to Panera Bread for comment but has yet to hear back.

The company told Gawker that it has no tolerance for the behavior caught on tape and that both employees were terminated.
