WASHINGTON, DC- From showing his colors on same-sex marriage to hitting the right note with Amazing Grace, looks like President Obama has won over a few hearts lately!

Even a new CNN poll says 50% of Americans approve of the way he's running the country. That's the first time he's seen that kind of love in two years!

And that number could get a boost if Obama’s plan to boost the number of zero's on your paycheck goes through.

Yep, you read that right!

The president is asking for a fair deal for salaried workers putting in more than 40 hours a week.

Turns out, only salaried workers who make less than $455 a week are guaranteed overtime.

But, if Obama has his way, the Department of Labor will propose raising the cutoff to $969 dollars a week!

If you do the math, that means 5 million more workers would be eligible for time-and-a-half once they've clocked in their 40.

So what’s the downside of this come up?

Well, companies might try to hire more part-time workers to avoid the big pay-out.

But, that could also mean more jobs!

So, technically we can just clock this as a win-win!
