DALLAS, TX- Whether it`s being dumped or cut-loose, there`s no doubt that breaking up is a tough thing to do.

But have you ever tried ‘ghosting’ your future ex?

No, there`s nothing friendly about this word and it doesn`t mean killing off your partner, either.

Here`s how it works: The ghost does not give an explanation of any sort and just disappears.  This leaves the ghosted wondering what he or she did wrong.

So, if it`s been three years and you still haven`t gotten a text back from Casper, hate to break it to you, but it’s clear you’ve been ghosted.

The slang term has popped up in the urban dictionary and in the streets. Charlize Theron reportedly Hollywood ghosted her ex Sean Penn!

If you do decide to play ghost, just make sure you don't leave any baggage behind!
