NEW YORK CITY - Looks like cord cutters have another reason to shout from the sofa cushions, especially those cutters who are sports fans. That's because on Wednesday, Yahoo! announced it's exclusive rights to broadcast a live regular season NFL game for free!

The game? The Bills versus the Jaguars. Yeah, not exactly Cowboys-Eagles, but it's still a big step in the right direction.

Roger Goodell and the NFL have been notoriously stingy with their broadcasting rights. This will be the first time a regular season NFL game will be live streamed free to online viewers.

It follows a trend of more and more sports content being available via online streaming.

So, while the beginning is two struggling franchises playing a game in London, there’s no telling how far this can go.

One day where you watch the Super Bowl may not be determined by the size of the TV but the size of the bandwidth.
