DALLAS- On this day in 1970, "The Kinks" singer, Ray Davies was forced to fly from New York to London to record ONE word in their forthcoming single, "Lola".

And in 2003, Barry Manilow suffered a broken nose after he walked into a wall at his house. Talk about a strong wall.
