LOS ANGELES - Calling all nerds! The cast and crew of the "Big Bang Theory" are putting their big brains together for a greater good. They've created a scholarship at the University of California Los Angeles.
Twenty smart science students will get the cash this year, and five students per year after that.
The Big Bang Theory Scholarship Endowment, as it's being formally called, has raised over $4 million from the actors and the co-creator Chuck Lorre.
Talk about coming in with a big bang!
The first group of recipients will be announced this Fall. May you live long and prosper.
